WATER RIVERS FLOW ACROSS THE TREES

One of the biggest secrets from the Amazonian rainforest is hidden among its magical trees. Daily, every tree produces more than 1.000 liters of water that goes to the atmosphere; the trees take it from the ground, they evaporate it and transfers it to the atmosphere.

All the Amazonian rainforest places 20.000 million of tons of water every day. This water is in charge of irrigating, as if it were the Eden´s garden, regions from 3.000 up to 4.000 kilometers of distance. The Amazonian river, the widest river in the world, places on the Atlantic Ocean more than 17.000 million of tons of water daily. It has been shown that deforestation of the Amazonian forest is the root cause of most of the intense periods of drought on the South American countries.
