The corozo tree doesn't have any waste

There are plants that are simply marvelous, each of their parts is usable, profitable and beneficial for the human being. This is the case of the corozo tree:

Its fruit is so versatile that it can be used for wine making, traditional sweets, ice cream and food supplements.

Its palm-like leaves are dried in the sun until the humidity leaves them completely and can be used as roofs for huts, kiosks or even traditional homes. They have an excellent resistance to rain in the humid months or the sun in the dry season, but above all, they are easy to obtain and use.

The resistance and flexibility of its wood make it ideal for the construction of traditional houses or to become “cañas de milo”, an ancestral flute with as much history as the first indigenous populations of the Caribbean.

Even cattle take advantage of the corozo tree, sheltering in the dry season or using it as a favorite food source when grass is scarce. Thus, the corozo has established itself as a plant that everyone enjoys.
