The brown capuchin: the most frenetic of Amazonian animals

Dizzying, fast and incessant are the days in the jungle when you live above the ground and high up in the trees, totally different from the calm inside the rivers. Such is the case of the corn monkey, whose pace of life is so fast that it is not uncommon to see it jumping from one branch to another, always agitated to find something to eat or distracted by one of the thousands of other species of animals in the Colombian Amazon.

It is precisely these qualities that make him a tireless deliverer of seeds. He carries fruits in his hands and drops them on the ground far away from where he finds them, or depending on the fruit he spits the seeds over long distances, especially that of the açaí, and with no other motivation than to satisfy his hunger he ends up becoming one of the regenerators of the jungle.
